What is HDR Photography?

You may have heard of or seen the acronym HDR floating around, but what does it mean and why should you care? High dynamic range (HDR) photography is created by taking multiple images at different exposures and merging them into one shot.  This makes it possible to show the many details that would typically be lost in the highlights or shadows.  This is important in real estate photography as it shows all of the features of a room with full visibility, both indoors and out.  Blown out windows begone! With HDR photography, we are able capture all of the details. See below for an example:
